Utilatarianism
Utilitarianism is an ethical theory that says that the best course of action is the one that includes the greatest amount of happiness in any given situation.This is a teleological theory, meaning that the moral worth of an action is determined only by its resulting outcome, and that one can only weigh the morality of an action after knowing all its consequences. The two main contributors to thius theory are Jeremy Bentham and John Stuart Mill.
