As I have written on the News and Updates page, the biology exams are coming up in May!
The dates are as follows:
Unit 1 - 14th May (morning).
Unit 2 - 21st May (afternoon).
Make sure to write these dates down! And I suggest creating a timetable to help manage your revision.
If you're not sure on what ways to revise, Chloe and I have created a new Revision Tips and Methods page which you can check out.
Biology page-wise, I have now got resources from my teacher to aid me with my page, it makes it so much easier! There is, again, new material on the Unit 2 page. It still may not look much, but bare with me!
Also, keep a look out for Helpful Hints coming on the ISA page. I know the year 12 biology class are in the process of doing their ISA now, but maybe it will be helpful in the future.
That's all for now!

Just a quick update...  I've got new content on the Unit 2 page. Sorry it's not all being posted up in order, i'm just posting it all up in the order we're learning it all in the lessons.
Also, on my last post I mentioned about getting an author to help me out. This isn't the case any more as I'm getting resources from my teacher electronically so I have no need for an author right now. However if someone asked to be my author, of course i'd take that into consideration too.
But for now, it's still just me posting on Biology :)

So today was the first day back at school after half term and we're all getting back into the gist of things. We had a meeting today with all the website staff. Website-wise, Chloe and I will probably be in charge of a revision techniques and tips page, so look out for that coming soon! And also, i'll be looking around for an author to help me with the biology section, where basically they can add their notes to my section, or we can split the section in to two to make it more manageable for me. So in the next few weeks there should be another person adding to that section. It's all exciting stuff :)
On a different note, I hope everyone had a nice half term and welcome back! :D

So i've got the biology pages up and running. I've put up pages for unit 1, unit 2 and the ISA. At the moment, the unit 1 page is empty because at the moment we're on unit 2. However, I am doing the unit 1 exam in may/june, so when I start revising for that again I may start putting stuff up on the unit 1 page, but it won't be for a little while. I've started the unit 2 page, it may not look much right now, but it does take alot of time to type it all up and get the pictures on. I've also posted key words on the ISA page which are really useful to learn before you go in and take the exam.
Keep looking out for new material on the Unit 2 page and the ISA page, it will all be coming soon! :)

Hey guys, this is my first post for my blog. I'm Millie and i'm the Head Editor for the Biology page. I'm really excited about this site getting up and running! I'll be putting up notes on the biology page, at the moment it will just be for AQA Unit 2 for AS, but at some time in the future i'll be putting up the Unit 1 stuff. I'll be using teacher's notes that I get in the lesson, but all the stuff we cover is in the AQA AS Biology book (the fishy one!) which you can buy online or somewhere. So look out for the biology notes! If you have any questions I think you can comment on the blog, or if you need any help with Unit 1 or 2. I can also help with Chemistry or Psychology, but there are other Editors for those subjects so you should probably go to them! Any other questions you can ask on the home page. Hope this all helps :) Happy revising!!

    Millie.

My name is Millie and i'm the Head Editor for the Biology page! I also do Chemistry, Psychology and Maths. I am also the Co-editor of the Revision Tips and Methods Page.
